Professional Goalkeeping Coach

Safe Hands Goalkeeping Academy provides professional tuition for all ages and standards of players looking to improve their level goalkeeping skills, techniques and performance.

All sessions are delivered with a thorough explanation of the drills, techniques and in a friendly and enjoyable manner combining learning with fun!

The aim of the academy is to provide coaching in, but not limited to, the following area’s:

● Ball Familiarity     ● General Fitness    ● Footwork     ● Handling Technique

● Positioning    ● Shot Stopping     ● Distribution       ● 1 v1 with the Striker ● Deflections

● Dealing with crosses and free kicks      ● Penalties        ● Commanding your area.

At the end of each session every goalkeeper will be provided with an assessment, grade and record of their performance which can be measured for future sessions against performance and improvement.

Safe Hands Goalkeeping Academy is run by Lee Webster who is an AFC Registered Goalkeeping Coach.  Lee has enjoyed many years of goalkeeping having played for Norwich City, Colchester United and various Youth Academies as well as enjoying many years at non league level.  Lee has now decided to focus his attention on coaching and has had very positive results in his position as the resident goalkeeping coach for Leigh Rockets FC.
